I wanted to sort my rings and bracelets in a way I could easily see them and decide which one to wear, same with the necklaces and I tried to make a holder with kitchen towels tubes but didn’t work, wasn’t stable enough or I didn’t know how to make it right. Until…
After this new year’s fireworks, I collected some of the wooden sticks that were leftover after firing the rockets. I decided to try to glue them with hot glue and put corks on them as pegs, it kind of worked but the bracelets would slip to the front, so I glued bottle caps as stoppers and it totally worked.
Now, below you’ll see the result, I didn’t even bother painting it because it was really like a draft, and since it worked I decided to leave the “rustic, handmade” kind of look. This was my attempt of a Did-It-Myself (DIM) jewellery hanger:

Maybe not the most fancy hanger, but is unique, made completely with repurposed materials and the best part: is functional and I can see them all (which is what I wanted! 😀 ). What do you think?
