Since spring, the fresh produce is perfect not only for eating it raw, for the grill or just to cook/bake delicious recipes, but also to juice it up! (Specially carrots) And most of the times we use a Juicer or we use a strainer (colander) to avoid a too thick juice or just because we don’t like it. But I have realised that most of the nutrients are left there! So I searched several ways to use that leftover pulp and here are great ways, click the images to go directly to the recipes:
Carrot Pulp Cake

Carrot Apple Ginger Tea Cakes

Green Guacamole

Beet, Carrot, Cucumber Juice and Salad Combo

Fruity Beet Balls

Juice Pulp Fritters

Mmmm!
I haven’t tried all of them but the ones I have, they are delicious, and no leftovers!
If you ever try them , let me know how they were!
thanks for passing by 🙂
These are great ideas. We also use pulp to make fruit leathers.
That is a great idea! Do you have a recipe or link to that? I would love to make it and add it to the post, if you don’t mind 🙂
Yes I do. Thanks for asking too. The great thing is it requires very little. And you can avoid throwing away the pulp from jams. http://lizard100blog.wordpress.com/2014/07/03/currant-affairs-jam-juice-and-gin/
