Hi! Just a note: be aware that this is a general guide, always check on your local farm or market what is in season right now and buy it fresh locally grown whenever possible. The produce may be harvested or grown in different times of the year, it all depends on the region and climate.

When produce is in season locally, the relative abundance of the crop usually makes it less expensive. Fresh, locally harvested foods have their full, whole flavours intact, which they release to us when we eat them.
