I have always liked giving functional presents for these holiday season as well as for birthdays. And most of the years I make some time to create the gifts myself, maybe is only the wrapping (not that I create the gift per se) but something that makes it unique and more personalised. I have collected some ideas, a few but quite not so common, that I hope they inspire you.

I personally made two necklaces with washed balls from roll-on deos wrapped in fabric.Same principle here: You can use giant beads or the balls from roll-on deodorant (very well washed)Here is another tutorial. This is quite original!Moving on with the ideas, I recently had a nephew and I wanted to make something special, not just buying some outfit he will end up suing just for a couple of months.
