What can we Do as Individuals?
As citizens, workers, students, consumers or in any number of other roles, our individual decisions shape how our societies impact the environment. As well as making our personal lives more sustainable, as individuals, we can press for and support faster and more far-reaching environmental change from larger entities like governments and businesses.
- Raise your voice
Speak up for the big changes that really transform our relationship with the planet. Here are some ways to make yourself heard:

If you own, inherit or buy your own home or other property, save energy and money in the long run by insulating it and making its heating and cooling systems as efficient and sustainable as possible.
- ETHICAL INVESTING

World Environment Day
This World Environment Day 2022, view the plastic pollution crisis through the eyes and imagination of a child in South-East Asia.
Developed by The MeshMinds Foundation and produced by Studio Birthplace, in conjunction with SEA circular project – an initiative by the UN Environment Programme, ‘(PLASTIK)’ allows audiences to view the plastic pollution crisis through the eyes and imagination of a child in South-East Asia, a major hotspot for plastic pollution.
‘(PLASTIK)’ is the first short film made in Asia that uses creative storytelling and live action drama to raise awareness and catalyse action to end plastic pollution in the region. The film aims to visually narrate, particularly in a South-East Asian context, the social implications of plastic pollution; increase empathy for the crisis; and activate emotions that will drive behavioural change amongst youth in the region to say no to single-use plastic.
