This easy-to-make mouthwash passes the I-avoid-putting-anything-down-the-drain-that-I-won’t-eat test, which I mentioned in my recent TMI post. You might actually want to drink this, since it contains only vodka, spices and water.

Original Listerine, on the other hand, contains:

Active ingredients

  • Eucalyptol 0.092%
  • Menthol 0.042%
  • Methyl salicylate 0.060%
  • Thymol 0.064%

Inactive ingredients

Since this year I promised myself I would not buy anymore cereal because of the plastic liner or bag they all come in. At that time, I realised there was a bulk shop where I live and I could buy cereal there, but I still didn’t like the idea of consuming cereal with lots of sugar added (at least that I didn’t control myself). So it was obvious I had to make my own cereal. Now I like it even more 🙂

I’ve been making my own no-knead bread for the last month. That means we haven’t bought any loaf of bread from the bakery since then, (and we live in the land of many really awesome delicious bread options = Germany), but also feels good to make your own.
