Health consciousness and eco-friendliness have prompted millennials to champion veganism as a new way of life. The vegan diet is based on the concept of consuming anything that is not meat, dairy, eggs, and animal by-products. Furthermore, vegans are classified into five different groups, namely, dietary vegans, junk food vegans, low-fat vegans, raw food vegans, and whole- food vegans. Each of these types of veganism is based on the variety of foods consumed.
